Inspection & maintenance services

Let us regularly inspect your play area once it is installed, and we will recommend, and undertake, maintenance as necessary to extend the life of your scheme.

We recognise the legal duties necessary which demonstrate play areas are kept in a safe condition: regular inspections, logs, reports, rectification of defects, and photographic proof, all kept up to date for a 20 year period.

Our RPII certified inspectors can do all of this for you. Using dedicated inspection software, we are able to provide an auditable inspection trail, generate defect reports and track the progress of any outstanding work.

As well as meeting your legal obligations, this well-planned inspection and maintenance programme can extend the life span of the play area, which, in turn, offsets the inspection costs.

For customers using our inspection service, we can also provide a 48 hour call out service for your peace of mind. This deals with unforeseen incidents that arise, ensuring the play area is made safe and can continue to be used, minimising any down time for you and your clients.

On-site testing service

Our on-site testing service can give the reassurance you need that your scheme is still meeting its critical fall height requirements, however long ago it was installed.

At installation, any surface should have come with a guarantee of up to five years and evidence of a test certificate compliant with BSEN:1177 and BS7188, supplied by the company laying the surface.

Over time, all safer surfaces start to degrade and wear, and visual inspections alone cannot confirm whether or not the surface will still meet the specified critical fall height requirements. However, our on-site drop testing can provide the evidence of continued compliance with the relevant standards. Should a surface be under performing, it gives the chance to action remedial work before an accident does occur. With operator’s legal obligations becoming more onerous and the prevalence of our claims culture, this simple service can give you peace of mind.
